Jean de La Fontaine college alumni reunion on July 11 – an unforgettable event!

Our association was asked to ensure the organization of the alumni meeting of the Jean de La Fontaine college in Charleville-Mézières.

From a college to places for associations.

This year, with the support of the services of the town of Charleville-Mézières, It is l’association Ardennes Découverte Production who will organize the reunion of alumni of the Jean de La Fontaine college in Charleville-Mézières.

Launched in 2023 by two former students after the announcement of the closure of the college, it is now our association, accompanied by Sébastien and Maxence, two other former students, which is responsible for its organization.

With the Jean de La Fontaine college due to be demolished in 2026, this will be the only opportunity to organize this event on the site of the old college.

Sébastien, Maxence and the team of our association are meeting former students and teachers on July 11, 2024 from 6 p.m. to midnight, for an event in Spanish inn format (each and everyone brings something to eat and drink but also, if they wish, games).

Information and registration

Are you a former student or professor and would like to participate in this meeting? Simply register by filling out the registration form (registrations are now closed).

As the event is in a Spanish inn format, there will be no refreshment bar or catering directly managed by the organization.

Indeed, we have constraints to respect in order to be able to organize the event in the old college.

Seating places

During the Jean de La Fontaine college alumni meeting, you can bring folding/camping tables and chairs or something to sit on the ground because we will only have a maximum of 80 seats available.

Music

If you want to play music via your phone or a small speaker (not large speakers), you will need to pay attention to the sound volume so as not to disturb the other participants and avoid disturbances with the neighborhood.

Waste and selective sorting

Let's limit waste, please favor reusable tableware and respect waste sorting.

Safety point

• Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume in moderation.
• Consumption of alcohol is prohibited for minors.
• Only registered people will be able to participate in the event.
• Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children, again for security and insurance reasons.
• Only one accompanying person can be registered with you, additional accompanying persons must register separately.
• the limits of the spaces to which we will have access will be demarcated by city barriers and tape, which will not be crossed under any circumstances.
• the organizers cannot under any circumstances be held responsible in the event of loss or theft of your personal effects.
• We reserve the right to exclude any person who interferes with the smooth running of the Jean de La Fontaine college alumni meeting.
• The presence of illicit objects or substances will be reported to the police.
• IF you see someone or something suspicious, notify the organizers immediately.
