Lots of new features for the 2017 edition.
This year, the Charleville Christmas market is being expanded and equipped with many new features, and several events will take place outside Place Ducale.
This year the market will be enchanted since it will have Ardennes legends as its theme and will transport visitors to a world populated by elves, elves and fairies.
Christmas is “THE” time of the year when we all return to childhood, where dreams and magic have their place. The end-of-year festivities offered by the town of Charleville-Mézières this year will transport you to a world populated by elves, elves and fairies. Animations, decorations, illuminations: be ready to enter a magical world full of surprises.
First new feature: the Christmas market is expanding this year and taking over the courtyard of the Ardennes Museum where a weekend craft market and the Criée will take place which will be transformed into an “Enchanted Courtyard” with a plant maze and activities for children.
Perhaps you will have the chance to come across Oligo the Ardennes nuton at the bend of an alley, or in a legendary forest, in his cottage... The traditional Christmas market is made up of 40 chalets.
You can find there: a catering area, Santa's kota, enchanting decorations, everything is planned this year to make you have a magical time.
For products from crafts and local production, you will have to go to the courtyard of the museum where the craft market will take place.
Animations, decorations, illuminations: be ready to enter a magical world full of surprises.
You will spend unforgettable moments there. As for entertainment, the little nuts have reserved a naturally... magical program for you: mapping, wanderings, various shows and workshops under the big top which will give pride of place to Ardennes legends.
The little train, the Ferris wheel and the ice rink are returning and will remain installed until the end of the school holidays!
There will be plenty to make the eyes of all dreamers shine.
Christmas market 2017 opening hours: December 2 to January 7 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
Nocturne on Saturday December 23 for the Bullfight.
